Patient Comfort Within Reach

Hotspot - Nitronox Plus

Nitronox Plus logo

Nitronox Plus is an adjustable demand-flow nitrous oxide (N2O) delivery system designed to help manage patient pain1 and anxiety during minimally invasive gynecologic procedures in your office.

The compact system gives healthcare professionals control over the nitrous oxide concentration while allowing patients to receive the gas mixture as they breathe through the disposable breathing circuit.

Available in three configurations, Nitronox Plus gives healthcare professionals the flexibility to choose the system that best fits their practice needs:

  • Adjustable 0% – 50% nitrous oxide model
  • Adjustable 0% – 70% nitrous oxide model
  • Preset 50% nitrous oxide and 50% oxygen model

The demand-flow system delivers the selected nitrous oxide and oxygen mixture in response to the patient’s inhalation. Patients remain conscious and spontaneously breathing during administration.

For gynecology practices, Nitronox Plus provides an additional patient-comfort option for in-office procedures, including hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, IUD insertion or removal, LEEP, and endometrial ablation.

In a 2026 randomized, placebo-controlled study (n=214) of women who underwent office hysteroscopy, patients who inhaled N2O reported reduced intraprocedural pain and improved satisfaction.1
